Account Opening and Ordering

Account Opening
The first step to working with Selcoms is to open an account. We will need to go through this process with you to ensure we have all of the correct details for processing and delivering your orders, as well as ensuring you get the very best support from the whole company. The account form and our terms and conditions can be downloaded.

Finance Options
Included on the account opening form you will find credit account opening details. Upon opening your account, we will use the information you have supplied to apply a credit limit determined by our finance partners 'Close Finance'. Credit limits are approved, set and changed by Close based upon your company trading and credit record. Where credit accounts are not approved, you can still trade with us, but prepayment will be required (in the case of goods needing to be ordered, it is usual to request a 50% deposit on order with the balance payable on notification of shipping from the manufacturer).

Ordering
To order from us, we will require a valid Purchase Order with the PO Number clearly marked and the order signed by an authorised company representative. We can accept faxed or e-mailed POs. Faxed orders should be sent to +441488 639555, e-mailed orders to your account manager or sales@selcoms.com


Shipping & Delivery

Same Day Despatch
All orders received before 3.30pm Monday-Friday will be processed and despatched the same day (excluding Bank Holidays & stock availability) via TNT. Delivery is additional on all orders and is calculated as delivered from Selcoms UK unless otherwise stated and agreed.

Back Orders
In the event that a product is currently out of stock, you will be notified as soon as possible via email or telephone and your order due date will be given to you within 2 working days on your order acknowledgement.

UK Based Orders
TNT standard delivery - Delivery usually within 1 to 3 days. However 4 working days should be allowed before contacting us if your order has not arrived.

Wolrdwide Orders
When shipping worldwide, the options are limitless and associated costs can be high. Our shipping department will endeavour to provide you with as accurate quotation as possible or if you prefer, you may wish to use your own couriers to collect shipments from us.

Damaged Shipments, Returns & RMA's

Damaged or missing goods
While we try our best to ensure you receive a quality service, sometimes things go wrong. If you have received damaged goods or if you believe there are items missing from the shipment, you must notify us within 2 working days of receipt. We will do our best to resolve the situation. All packages sent are insured against non-delivery and damage.

RMA & Returns
ALL returns for credit or repair must be authorised through our RMA/Returns process. We will not accept any goods that are returned without a valid RMA number that MUST be marked clearly on the packaging of the returned item(s).
