Initially from a City background in Commodities and Finance Hugh decided to specialise in Telecommunications.
His extensive experience in the Telecommunications market include roles in Comcast and Singapore Telecom Joint ventures, and then NTL.
He joined the wireless market in 2000 when he was headhunted to be UK General Manager of BreezeCOM which became known as Alvarion.
A role that led to him being headhunted again to join the DTI Broadband Taskforce where he was instrumental in the roll out of broadband across the country.
Hugh Co-Founded Selcoms in 2005 with Rob Mortimer his colleague and friend from Alvarion.
