Between Newbury and Hungerford on the M4 going West / East and between Oxford and Newbury going North / South.
Whilst travelling on the M4 (West or East) come off at Junction 14.
- If coming from the West (travelling West to East) keep in the left hand lane and follow the signs to Wantage and Great Shefford on the A338.
- If coming from the East (East to West) upon arriving at the roundabout, go all the way around to the right and take 2nd exit and follow the signs to Wantage and Great Shefford on the A338.
When you reach Great Shefford continue on the A338 to Wantage which takes you past the Swan Pub and past the Murco Petrol station. As you come out of the village you past a right hand turn which is signposted to Chaddleworth and has the a sign advertising the Ibex pub. Keep going.
After you have gone a further mile the road rises and you encounter a sharp left hand bend. Follow the road round and keep going on the A338 to Wantage.
When you see a small sign for Woolley just before a war memorial at the top of the hill turn right. Go all the way down this single track road (with passing places) until you see a sign for Woolley Barns. We are up at the far left hand side corner of the Barns. Selcoms Visitors Parking is available outside the front of the building.
Whilst travelling on the A34 (South bound) come off at the Abingdon South turning signposted A415.
As you come down the slip road to the roundabout: Turn right following the signs for Wantage on the A415 and continue on that road for approx 2.25 miles.
At a T junction in Frilford just past a petrol station Turn left and take the A338 signposted to Wantage, and the Grove. Keep going through the Grove until you come into Wantage town. As you arrive into the town you will come to mini-roundabout where you go straight over.
Follow this road for about a mile until you come to a mini roundabout. Ignore the road straight ahead signposted to Didcot on the A417, and turn right keeping on the A338. You will come to a set of traffic lights almost opposite a Volvo Garage where you will see a sign for Hungerford on the A338. Turn left there and follow this road for approx 5.0 miles. Here the area goes very rural and you come up to horse signs that warn you to slow down. You will be taking the next left turn.
When you see a small sign for Woolley just past a large Stone War Memorial at the top of the hill turn left. Go although the way down this single track road (with passing places) until you sees a sign for Woolley Barns. We are up at the far left hand side corner of the Barns. Selcoms Visitors Parking is available outside the front of the building.
